This notice explains the personal data processed through gatedev.com, including the contact form. It is intended to provide the information required by Article 13 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible for your data?
GateDev is the point of contact for data processing described here. You can reach us at info@gatedev.com or at Via Dino Buzzati 2 int 1, 31044 Montebelluna (TV), Italy.
What data do we process?
When you use the contact form, we receive your name and any telephone number, email address or message you choose to provide. We also process technical information needed to operate and protect the website, such as your IP address and request information. The contact form uses your IP address temporarily to limit repeated submissions.
Why do we use it?
We use contact details and messages to respond to enquiries, discuss requested services and follow up on potential projects. Depending on the request, the legal basis is taking steps before entering a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)). We use technical information to deliver and secure the website and prevent form abuse under our legitimate interest in operating a reliable service (Article 6(1)(f)). We do not use contact form submissions for marketing without a separate legal basis.
Providing your name and accepting the form notice is required to submit the form. Other fields are optional, but without a way to reach you we may be unable to reply.
Who receives the data?
Authorised GateDev personnel and service providers supporting website hosting and contact email delivery may access data where needed. Those providers process data under appropriate contractual safeguards. We may disclose data when required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
How long do we keep it?
Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any ensuing relationship, and longer where legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims require it. Technical records are kept only for the time needed for security and operation. The form's in-memory rate limit and duplicate checks expire after approximately ten minutes.
External services and transfers
The contact page embeds Google Maps. When you view that map, Google may receive technical information about your device and visit and may apply its own privacy terms. Follow the links on the map to review them. Our service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where this occurs, we rely on an applicable transfer mechanism and safeguards required by the GDPR.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or erase your data, restrict or object to processing, and receive a portable copy where applicable. If we rely on consent for a particular activity, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier processing. To exercise your rights, email info@gatedev.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
